New Respite Service launched

New Care Home in Cullompton will create 12 new jobs

A new home for people with learning disabilities in Cullompton has recently been approved by the Care Quality Commission. Based at the premises of Court House Residential Home, Court House Cottage will provide accommodation for up to 6 individuals with learning disabilities. Celebrating 100!

Ernest Rowlatt celebrated his 100th birthday at Court House with his wife Joy, 93, along with our staff, residents and their family members on Friday 31st July. Ernest was originally from Leicestershire and moved to Tiverton when he married. He worked as a porter at Belmont Hospital in Tiverton for over 10 years and served in the Royal Signals in North Africa and Italy during the Second World War. Ernest married on January 23rd 1943 to his wife, Joy and had two sons and a daughter. Ernest and Joy are both living at Court House still enjoying...
